During the meeting, madam shown the news paper of Chauluen election.

The Chauluen women group’s lady-chairman was holding the news paper cut out. She brought up issues on the activities for Chauluen. Suggestion on fund raising for Charity activites. She also brought up issue on stage presentation of dinner to be enhanced.

Madam Ng, Mrs Tam was happy with the suggestions in the meeting.

昭倫婦女組第二屆 (2009-2012) 受任宣誓晚宴

The dinner was started around 8.00pm in one of the halls of the restaurant. The new Chau Luen chairman, Mr.W.S Than has sponsored four tables of Chinese food. Those guests who arrived earlier enjoyed the karaoke session. Around 8.00pm, the new committee members took official oaths and sign the necessary documents. Photos for memorandum were taken during the signing ceremony. Speeches were given by the previous chairman, new chairman and the women group’s lady-chairman. The new chairman gave away memorial certificates to some of the previous committee members.

More that six thousand ringgits were collected from some of the new committee members as contributions for the Chau Luen activities. The dinner ended at 11.00pm with the karaoke session.Overall the dinner was great, and well organized.

I was very proud to attend this dinner because I am also a member of one of the Chau Luen families.
